I. POSITION SUMMARY: Your Mission

The Business Development Associate is responsible for providing essential support to the Business Development Manager across all aspects of sales, client support, and account management. Your primary focus will be on the operational execution of sales tasks, including preparing proposals, quotations, and feasibility studies, managing client communications, and ensuring timely follow-ups to strengthen relationships and support business growth.

II. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Core Responsibilities

Sales, Client Support and Account Management Activities:
  • Proposal Generation: Assist in preparing accurate proposals, quotations, and feasibility studies specifically for EMEA clients.

  • Internal Coordination: Coordinate closely with internal teams on pricing, timelines, and project inputs to ensure competitive and realistic offerings.

  • CRM & Pipeline Management: Manage client accounts, maintain detailed CRM records, and diligently track the sales pipeline.

  • Growth Identification: Proactively identify opportunities for account growth, cross-selling, and new partnerships.

  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships through consistent, professional engagement.

  • Reporting: Provide timely updates to the Business Development Manager on progress, opportunities, and any client concerns.

Collaboration, Strategy & Project Coordination:
  • Sales Support: Support the BDM by participating in client meetings, calls, and industry events.

  • Strategy Input: Participate in strategy sessions to continuously improve service delivery.

  • Cross-Team Link: Coordinate communications with Manila-based sales and operations teams.

  • Project Handover: Ensure smooth project handover and transition to operations once a deal is closed.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project management, operations, and marketing teams to efficiently meet client needs

Required Experience:

  • At least 2 – 3 years experience in Business Development and Account Management.

  • Market Research industry experience is preferred (a significant plus).

Education and Minimum Qualifications Needed:
  • Communication: Very Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to display empathy and get along well with different personalities and cultures.

  • Technical: Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Mindset: Must have a strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.

  • Drive: Must have professionalism, passion to succeed, and a motivation to reach higher goals.

  • Adaptability: Ability to deliver results under pressure and show dedication to client services and business development.

  • Global Exposure: Global outlook and cross-cultural experience is preferred.
